Siliken History
- In 2001, we created Siliken Modules to manufacture solar power panels and established the Siliken World Headquarters in Valencia, Spain.
- In 2005 we created Siliken Electronics to manufacture DC-AC grid connection inverters for photovoltaic plants.
- In 2006, the company went on to create Siliken Chemicals specializing in the production of electronic grade silicon with the aim of self-supplying the group with the raw materials necessary for the manufacture of the modules.
- In 2008, we opened new solar panel production plants in Tenerife, Spain and San Diego, California, USA. These plants join the Siliken Module factories in Canary Islands and in Spain at Rafelbunyol, Pobla de Farnals (Valencia) and Casas Ibáñez (Albacete). Our production plants cover a surface area of more than 450,000 sq ft.
We are currently immersed in a national and international expansion process and are preparing the vertical integration of the entire photovoltaic solar energy production process for manufacturing electronic grade silicon, wafers and photovoltaic cells. In addition, we are making important efforts to diversify our activities and further commit to other sources of renewable energy like wind and hydrogren, as well solar power.

- 2007: Special 15th Anniversary Award for an IDEAS Consolidated Company from the IDEAS Institute of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia
- 2007: Bancaja-Universidad Politécnica de Valencia Award in recognition of the collaboration in comprehensive training for students of the UPV with Education Cooperation Programmes
- 2007: ANCES Award for the Creation and Consolidation of Technology-Based Innovative Enterprises on the Best Trajectory
- 2007: Sun and Peace Award for business efforts from the Terra Foundation
